Joshua D.

Joshua began studying piano in his native New Orleans from the age of seven. After nine years under the mentorship of Ina Mencia and of Moses Hogan, Joshua moved to Houston to continue his studies under Dr. Danny Kelley.
After studying with Marian Hahn for two years at the Peabody Music Conservatory in Baltimore, Joshua obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at Prairie View A&M under the charge of Dr. Vicki Seldon.

In the interim, he taught Piano, Guitar and Theory at Debakey High School for three years. Since then, he has provided services of a piano-accompanist for diverse schools and ensembles throughout Texas.

Joshua is currently seeking a Master’s degree in Music Therapy at Concordia University in Montreal.
