Larry P.

Larry Penna is a Houston-based guitarist who was inspired by rock music and began his musical journey at the age of 11. He earned a B.M. in Composition from the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston, studying with renowned jazz guitarists Mike Wheeler and Greg Petito, as well as classical/flamenco guitarist Jeremy García. While guitar is his primary instrument, Larry also teaches beginning and intermediate piano alongside guitar lessons, helping students of all ages explore jazz, classical, pop, rock, and other styles they love. Passionate about music's power to inspire and connect, he composes for video games and original projects in his spare time. Larry is excited to help students grow creatively and musically through personalized, confidence-building lessons.
