Chondra B.
Piano, Voice
My name is Chondra Brown. I earned my bachelor’s degree in music performance at Texas Southern University, where I focused on voice. I have four years of experience teaching music to students ages 5–13, and I have performed in choirs, seminars, and recitals throughout my training. In addition to vocal performance, I have several years of piano experience and can teach beginner‑level piano lessons. I am skilled in teaching classical, popular, and theatrical vocal styles, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and strong technique in their musical abilities.
Throughout my teaching career, I have organized and directed numerous performances and programs. I have built and developed choirs, created winter programs for young singers, and coordinated performances for Black History Month, Veterans Day, International Day, and Chinese Lunar New Year. I have also led caroling groups and produced seminars, solos, and recitals. Music has been a passion of mine since childhood, and my teaching experience reflects my commitment to creating meaningful, engaging musical experiences for students.
