Christian Q.
Whether it’s Opera, pop, Rock, or Gospel, Chris can teach and do all those things. This Eccentric Tenor has had music in his life ever since the beginning. Chris started out in his church, singing background and later, transitioned to Lead Voice and Piano for his local church. Chris then joined Choir throughout his Middle and High School days and is still in Choir at Lone Star College Cy-Fair. He has also done numerous Solo and Ensemble Competitions, only receiving the highest rankings and going to the state level three times in a row, which is equal to being handpicked to be in a Texas football team.
Not only does he do Choir, but he has been in numerous shows such as Little Women, The Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady. He has also sung roles from Operas like Tamino from Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”, Des Grieux from Massenet’s “Manon”, Alfredo from Verdi’s “La Traviata”, and most recently, The Orderly from J. Todd Frazier’s “Breath of Life”, which made its Houston Debut at The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University this past June.
In Short, the one thing that Chris wants is to bring and show people what the power of music can do, whether you’re on the receiving end or the one singing the song.
