Cara Lee has more than 40 years of piano experience, including classical training and 4 years of training in pop and jazz. She has experience performing as a soloist in festivals and in numerous church settings; her selections have included her own compositions and arrangements.
She also has several decades of experience accompanying vocal and instrumental soloists, groups, and choirs in a variety of school, church, and community settings.
Cara Lee doubled on flute and clarinet throughout school, participating in band, orchestra, and marching band (piccolo). She was first-chair clarinet in her all-state band, in the first clarinet section of All Pacific Northwest Band, and in the top wind ensemble at her university.
As a vocalist, Cara Lee has decades of experience singing in school and church choirs. As part of her music minor, she took voice lessons, participated in university choirs, and studied both sight singing and conducting. She has 7 years of experience directing youth and adult choirs of various abilities. She has also composed and arranged pieces for various choral settings.
Cara Lee also enjoys walks in nature, yoga, gardening, and jewelry making.
